After a fun day of having lunch with my friend Denise visiting from BYU-I, and taking engagement photos for my friend Jodi, I walked into my apartment to find an envelope addressed to me from the nutrition & dietetics department sitting on our kitchen table. I swiftly picked it up and stared at it- tension rising. This is what it must feel like right before opening a mission call. I didn't want to open for fear of being disappointed, but then i couldn't not open it and not know. So I quickly tore it open, pulled out the letter, and began to read. "thank you for your application... blah blah blah.... you have been accepted into the Fall 2008 class in the Dietetics program!!!" I immediately began to scream out in excitement and my roommates soon joined in with me in the chorus. Then I began to make the round of family calls. Only taking me about 2 hours. That's gotta be a record.

after two years and an internship I'll officially be a RD (registered dietician). woot!!
